Botanic Garden Family Fun Day
The University of Dundee's Botanic Garden host their annual Family Fun Day this Saturday
(April 23).
The event will run from 10 am to 4 pm and includes a wide range of activities for all ages, most of
which will be available undercover to protect against any stray April showers.
Among the activities on offer will be natural art, facepainting, storytelling, wacky workshops,
garden trails and a Jungle Tunnel placed at the bottom of the Visitor Centre. Dundee College will
also have a display and Elmwood College will be here with small animals. Other organisations
present will include Dundee City Council Countryside Rangers, Scottish Crop Research Institute,
Taywood Turning Club and The Beekeepers.
The normal entry charge to the garden will be applied, which is - Adults £2, Children/Concessions
£1, Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) £5.
The Coffee Shop will be open from 9.00am to 5.00pm serving a variety of home made soup, light
lunches and home made baking. Gifts and plants will also be for sale.
