photo opportunity, 5.55pm, Tuesday April 16, Cooper Gallery, Duncan of Jordanstone, University of Dundee.
An arts project involving two students at the University of Dundee and pupils from the city's Lochee Primary School will culminate tomorrow, April 16, in a multi-sensory exhibition.
Found In Space has brought the P7 pupils' ideas about future to the Cooper Gallery at the University's Duncan of Jordanstone Faculty of Art and Design. The gallery contains work by the pupils reflecting how they think our lives will be in years to come.
MSc Electronic Imaging students Alec Ohnstad and Lynne Granger have helped the pupils put on the exhibition as part of Dundee City Council's Quality Contact Project.
Lord Provost John Letford and University of Dundee Principal Sir Alan Langlands are amongst those invited to a private viewing on Tuesday April16. Pupils, parents and representatives of various local organisations are also expected to attend.
Alec said "Found in Space was successful as a collaborative project pushing ideas of what art is about for both the students from Lochee Primary and at Duncan of Jordanstone.
"The project has given the children the exciting opportunity to create real art work, while this is the first time the Cooper Gallery at the University has exhibited work by artists of such a young age."
