Blair vs Blair - 'Yes Scotland' and 'Better Together' head-to-head - 5 Million Questions public event October 30th
The campaign chiefs for the two sides in Scotland's historic independence referendum will go head-to-head in a public
debate being staged by the University of Dundee's 5 Million Questions project next week.
Blair Jenkins, chief executive of the 'Yes Scotland' campaign, and Blair McDougall, campaign director for 'Better Together',
will square off in the event on October 30th.
It is the first time that Mr McDougall and Mr Jenkins will have gone head-to-head in public since the campaigns were
launched. The event will be chaired by BBC Scotland's political editor Brian Taylor.
'We are delighted that both the Blairs - Mr Jenkins for Yes Scotland and Mr McDougall for Better Together - have agreed to
take part in this debate,' said Professor Christopher Whatley, Vice-Principal of the University of Dundee and Chair
of the 5 Million Questions project.
'This is a rare opportunity to hear from the chief strategists plotting the respective campaigns rather than the politicians.'
The event takes place at 6pm on Wednesday October 30th in the Dalhousie Building at the University of Dundee. Free tickets
for the event can be obtained by registering at: http://blairvsblairheadtohead.eventbrite.co.uk
or by email at events@fivemillionquestions.org or phone 01382 381296.
