DUSA voted number 1 in UK for nightlife

Dundee University Students Association has been named best in the UK for student nightlife by Which? University.

Dundee came out top in a survey of thousands of students from across the UK. Students were asked by Which? to grade 'strong union nightlife', based on the role the students' union plays in the University's social scene, and the range of popular student nights including gigs, DJ sets and balls.

DUSA President Iain Kennedy said, "It is great to see that we continue to rank well when compared with other institutions in the UK, and this is yet more recognition of the hard work carried out every day by the staff here at DUSA.

"We try to present a wide range of entertainment for the entire student community and we have some incredibly popular events. I believe that this ranking is a direct reflection of our commitment to ensuring that the high quality services provided accurately meet our student's needs.

"Of course this follows on from Dundee being voted best in the UK for student experience in a Times Higher Education survey, so there are obviously plenty of good reasons to be in Dundee!"
