Colm Toibin appearance re-scheduled
Due to unforeseen circumstances, multi-award winning author Colm Toibin’s appearance at this year’s Dundee Literary Festival has been re-scheduled for Monday, October 29th.
The Irish novelist, short story writer, essayist, playwright, journalist, critic, and poet had been due to read from his latest book and discuss his distinguished career at Bonar Hall two days earlier. The event will now take place at the University of Dundee’s Dalhousie Building at 7pm on the Monday.
All tickets sold remain valid, while full refunds will be given to anyone unable to make the re-arranged date.
As well as winning the Costa Novel Prize and numerous other literary awards, Toibin has twice been shortlisted for the Booker Prize. His appearance in Dundee coincides with the publication of The Testament of Mary, his 9th novel, and signed copies will be available on the day.
Dozens of events will be taking place during the 2012 Dundee Literary Festival. Full details can be found at www.literarydundee.co.uk
Tickets can be purchased online, or from Literary Dundee, 6th floor, Tower Building, University of Dundee, tel 01382 384413.
