Lesser-known composers feature in concert

The University of Dundee Choir and Orchestra will be performing a programme of work by lesser-known members of famous musical families at St Paul’s Cathedral next week.

The concert will consist of music by Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart (son of Wolfgang Amadeus), Michael Haydn (brother of Franz Joseph), and J Christian, J Christoph, and J Ludwig Bach (the son and cousins of Johann Sebastian respectively).

The event takes place at 7pm on Wednesday, 24th October. The leader of the orchestra is Olivia Curran and the soloist in the piano concerto is Dr David Mowle. Tickets are available on the door, and cost £7, £6 (concessions) and £3 (students).
