ISE Seniors open morning - Tue 28th Feburary
10am - 1pm, Institute of Sport & Exercise
Members of the community are invited into the University of Dundee's Institute of Sport & Exercise on Tuesday February 28th to see what is on offer for people aged 60 years and over.
"We currently have 230 senior members and a further 215 members who access the active living exercise programme for diabetes and coronary heart disease," said Hazel Ednie at ISE. "There is a wide range of activity so there is plenty of opportunity to find the right exercise for you."
The seniors exercise programme offers members a choice of 10 weekly exercise sessons with a further six active living exercise sessions delivered weekly.
Visitors tomorrow can try some of the activities including senior circuits, aquanastics, swimming, sport and the gym. ISE senior members will also be on hand to welcome new visitors and chat with them about the benefits of exercise at ise.
Refreshments and a tour of the facilities will be available throughout the morning. The Institute is on Old Hawkhill.
