Brian Cox, star of films such as X-Men and the Bourne Identity, has a new credit to add to his list, Scotland’s first student soap, 'Skint'.

Brian was recently elected Rector of the University of Dundee and is in Dundee this week visiting students on campus. He has agreed to take part in filming of the student's own soap, which is put together by DusaTV, part of Dundee University Students' Association.

Brian will be filming with the student cast on Wednesday May 5th and all will be available for photos at 4.15 pm at Dundee University Students' Association, Balfour Place, Dundee.

'Skint' has been running on DusaTV since November and has already received over 30,000 views.

'We are delighted to have a bonafide Hollywood star working with us and supporting the project,' said Jordan Dunbar from DusaTV. 'Brian has been here this week visiting the students and we took the chance to present him with the script and he loved the idea of taking part.'
