Saxophonist to appear as part of evening concert series

Renowned saxophonist Karen Dufour will perform a mix of classic and contemporary music when she appears at the University of Dundee later this week.

The latest instalment in the University’s Evening Concert Series takes place at the Chaplaincy Centre, Cross Row, from 7.30 pm on Thursday, November 26th. Karen will be playing work from Robert Schumann, Vaughan Williams and Debussy, among others.

Since graduating from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2006, she has performed with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and the Telford New Symphony Orchestra as well as performing for Prince Charles and Lady Camilla Parker Bowles. Karen also regularly performs around Scotland as a soloist.

Tickets cost £8, £5 (concession) and £1 for school children, and will be available at the door.
