'Moult-In' - new exhibition
Preview: Friday March 6th, 5pm-7pm 
Lower Foyer Gallery, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design 
The complex relationship between humans and animals will be explored in a new exhibition that opens at Duncan of Jordanstone College this Friday. 
'Mount-In' features work from Lauren Gaunt and Ashley Nieuwenhuizen, two recent graduates of the College who undertook a joint residency at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Lumsden earlier this year. 
The violent reality of nature and the blurring of boundaries between man and beast are among the themes examined. 
Lauren Gault graduated with First Class Honours from the BA Fine Art course at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2008. During her degree she worked mainly with sculpture, and her works use strong visceral colours and contrasting surfaces and materials 
Ashley Nieuwenhuizen’s work encompasses a wide range of media, with an intense focus on printmaking, sculpture and literature. She graduated with First Class Honours from the BA Fine Art course at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2008. 
The artists and projects have been supported by Dundee Visual Artist Award, Scottish Sculpture
 Workshop, School of Fine Art - Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. 
Friday sees a preview of the exhibition take place between 5 and 7pm.  Thereafter, it will be
open to the public between 9.30am-5pm on weekdays, and between 10.30am-4.30pm on Saturdays until
 March 21.
