Dundee ranks 12th in Times Higher Education UK student survey
Times Higher Education has published the results of its Student Experience Survey, with Dundee ranked an excellent 12th position in the rankings of more than 100 universities across the UK.
More than 12,000 full-time undergraduates across the country responded to the survey, which rates institutions across a list of 21 factors covering everything from quality of staff and lectures, to social life, to good accommodation and sports facilities.
Dundee's strong performance in the survey was greeted by David MacLeod, President of Dundee
University Students Association, who said, 'This is an excellent result for Dundee and one that I think truly reflects the student experience for the vast majority of people here.'
'The campus has a real buzz about it - walking around you are aware of the new buildings and facilities we have, the range of students who are here from around the world, and the fact there is a real sense of progression here.'
'Dundee is not perfect but an exciting work in progress and students are heavily involved in that.'
Dundee’s results in the Times Higher Education survey are strong across the board. The list can be seen via this link: www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/story.asp?sectioncode=26&storycode=404989&c=2.
