Manga for Mono

D-Con event, Dundee University Students Association 28/02/09

Dundee University Students Association will this weekend host the east of Scotland’s only convention of Japanese anime and manga art.

The D-Con event is being hosted by the University’s Anime Art Society and will feature the creators of some of the best-selling cult comics, including Ross Burt, the man behind the 'Astro Funk' comic and a concept artist for software giant EA Games.

Borders Books will have a stall selling Manga and graphic novels, and there will be further stalls selling Japanese models and figurines and a manga 'swap shop'.

The event takes place in Mono at Dundee University Students Association from 2pm to 7pm tomorrow, Saturday February 28th.
