Family fun day at Botanic Garden
Mucky monsters, an amazing maze and a hand-made teddy bear looking for a new home will all be part of the latest Family Fun Day at the University of Dundee Botanic Garden tomorrow (Saturday April 25th).
The hand-made teddy bear has been donated for a raffle to raise funds for the Friends of the Botanic Garden. Tickets for the raffle will be on sale throughout the day and it will be drawn at 4 pm.
Other attractions include something for all ages, from face painting and mask making for younger children, natural art and tent making for the older ones, and home compost advice and general gardening tips for parents.
'There really is something for everyone and we hope to see as many people as possible coming to join in the fun, although we hope too many don’t get completely lost in the maze,' said Alasdair Hood, curator of the garden.
The family fun day runs from 10am to 4pm at the Botanic Garden with activities throughout the day.
Normal admission charges apply: Adults £3, children and senior citizens £2, family ticket (two adults, two children) £8.
