Awards for students

The School of Accounting & Finance held its annual prize giving ceremony today, with students from across the globe being honoured by Sir Alan Langlands, Principal of the University.

The ceremony, held in the River Rooms at the University of Dundee, rewarded students with more than 30 prizes for their ability in accountancy, financial management and economics among others.

Prize winners included Raymond Ndikumana from Rwanda and several students from China as well as local students.

Professor Christine Helliar, Dean of the School of Accounting & Finance said, 'It is a great pleasure to know that there are many really talented students on our courses, and future employers will be fortunate to recruit them in to their organisations.'
