Photo opportunity: 6.30 pm, Tuesday 11th March
Mooting Court Room (Room 4.08), Scrymgeour Building, Park Place (just up from Bonar Hall)

The Hon Lord Malcolm, Senator of the College of Justice and a graduate of the University of Dundee, will visit the University of Dundee tonight to preside over the final of the University’s mooting competition.

The School of Law are delighted to have Lord Malcolm preside on the bench. The moot involves a case of possible child abduction, spousal abuse and divorce and is sponsored by Lexis Nexis Butterworths.

Law students, Sophie Humpries and Rhona McLeod versus David Cairns James Weyers competition will pit their wits against each other.

A 'moot' or 'mooting' is the oral presentation of a legal issue or problem and is the closest experience that a student can have whilst at university to appearing in court.
