Fashion show proceeds presented to Maggie's centre

Students from Dundee University Charities Committee will present a cheque for £1500 to the Maggie’s Centre at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee on Thursday June 12th.

The money represents part of the proceeds from the `Glad Rags’ fashion show organised by the students - alongside Arlene Fenton and Irving-Miskell Reid - and held at the Whitehall Theatre in Dundee in February.

Among the models who took part in the show were students and cancer survivors.

The rest of the proceeds from the show will be split between another two charities, Safe Haven for Donkeys and The Lighthouse Project,a halfway house for romanian orphans.
