Cheque presentation to Alzheimer's Research Trust

Staff from the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centre at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School will present a cheque for over £1000 to the Alzheimer’s Research Trust on Tuesday evening.

Four staff at the Centre - Anne Mather, Alison McNeilly, Caroline Stewart and Sharon Butler - formed a relay team at the Edinburgh marathon in May and completed the course in 4hrs 30mins, raising over £800.

The Centre also held a cake and book sale in April, which raised a further £367.

The money will be presented to Dr Marie Janson, Director of Development for the Alzheimer’s Research Trust, at a public lecture being held on Tuesday June 3rd in Lecture Theatre 1, Ninewells Medical School, Dundee.

The cheque presentation will take place around 6.40 pm.
