Search for Dundee's `next top model’

The search for Dundee’s next top model will start this Sunday (January 27th) when Dundee University Charities Committee launch their biggest fashion show ever.

DUCC are looking for fresh new talent to light up the catwalk when they host their fundraising fashion show for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre in February.

"We know there are lots of great looking Dundee students out there and we want to find the very best of them for the fashion show, so we are launching Dundee’s Next Top Model to give them all a chance to put their best face forward," said event co-ordinator Erin Marletta.

"This is a real chance to make a breakthrough as a model. We have some great sponsors for the event and among the prizes on offer are a modelling contract and a fashion photo shoot."

"Anyone who thinks they have the looks and style to be the next model face of Dundee should come along the Students’ Association on Sunday and show us what they have got. It’s all for a very good cause as well with all the profits from the show going to the Maggie’s Centre in Dundee."

The first audition session for `Dundee’s Next Top Model’ takes place at Dundee University Students’ Association at 5 pm on Sunday.

The winner will be announced during the `Glad Rags’ fashion show at the Whitehall Theatre on Sunday February 24th. The event is being sponsored by Freedom Hair Experience, IS Magazine, Marks and Spencer and Karen `B’.
