University graduate wins silver medal at the Olympics
A graduate of the University of Dundee, Wendy Houvenaghel, won silver in the Olympics this week.
Wendy, who graduated from the University as a dentist in 1998, started cycling just six years ago to keep her husband company. She took silver in the Women’s 3000 individual pursuit final in track cycling with a time of three minutes and thirty seconds.
