Kyle McEwan Acoustic Night

‘Acoustic night to raise awareness of the missing Dundee Student Kyle McEwan. Performances from those who new Kyle or his friends and family. A finale will feature all performers and Kyle’s friends performing some of Kyle’s favorite songs.’

Family and Friends of missing student Daniel Kyle McEwan are to host an Acoustic night at Dundee University Students Association on Thursday 29th November at 8.30pm.

The night has been organized in a bid to keep up awareness of the search for the 19 year old student.

The date of the event holds significance as it is exactly one month to the day since Kyle was reported missing. Kyle is a keen musician who has played regularly at the Acoustic night which is held in Air Bar at ‘The Union.’ Kyle’s music will be played on the night and a CD of his recordings will be for sale with proceeds going to homeless shelters and the RNLI. Also performing on the night will be Kyle’s dad Tom McEwan.

The night will see several performances from acts including Luva Anna, Page 6 and the Peski Kings. All the acts who will perform are doing so for free and in support of the search for Kyle.

Kyle’s mum Sharon has this to say:
"We need to know that Kyle is safe, we are not asking for him to come running home, but just let us know that he is ok."

"If anyone has seen or heard from him please get in touch".

"I would like to thank his friends for organizing the event and to all those who are contributing to it."

NOTE TO EDITORS

There will be a press briefing on Thursday 29th at 2pm.

The briefing will be held in the meeting rooms on level 4 The Union.

Family and friends will be attending as will some of the artistes taking part in the event.

Photographers are welcome at a photo opp. straight after the briefing and at the event itself.
