Satellite image of volcanic activity at Mount Etna
A large plume of ash emanating from Mount Etna spreads across the Mediterranean in a satellite image processed by the NERC Satellite Receiving Station at the University of Dundee.
The image was received on Friday from NASA's Aqua Satellite.
This image is free to use, but any use MUST CREDIT "NERC Satellite Station, University of Dundee".
