Scrymgeour lecture series
The impact of recent human rights cases including those concerning Belmarsh detainees and Afghan refugees will be examined in the opening event of this year's Scrymgeour Lecture Series at the University of Dundee School of Law.
Carol Harlow, Professor Emeritus of Public Law at the London School of Economics, will deliver the first talk in the annual research seminar series. Her talk is entitled "The End of Human Rights?" and will take a critical look at the law/democracy debate.
The opening Scrymgeour Lecture takes place at 4 pm on Wednesday November 8th, in the Moot Room of the Scrymgeour Building, Park Place. All are welcome to attend.
