Tayside Centre for General Practice Conference Begins
The latest developments in teaching and research for General Practitioners will be discussed at the annual conference of the Tayside Centre for General Practice at Hilton Dunkeld House, in Dunkeld on May 9th and 10th.
Around 80 GPs, teaching staff, trainers and students will attend the conference, which allows participants to exchange ideas and join workshop discussions on many of the issues facing general practice.
During the conference prizes will be awarded to undergraduate students from each of the first three years of degree studies. The students are asked to make a presentation based on an aspect of primary care work they have carried out during their studies.
Among the speakers at the conference are Professor Philip Cachia, Postgraduate Dean of the University of Dundee School of Medicine, Professor Frank Sullivan, head of the Community Health Sciences division, and Dr Jon Dowell and Dr David Bruce, respective Directors of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies at TCGP.
