RSA Coffeehouse Challenge in Dundee

A group of academics and students at the University of Dundee will be bringing intellectual debate to their coffee break this afternoon (Friday) when they take part in a discussion inspired by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts Coffeehouse Challenge.

The discussion on sustainability in the context of a university is being organised by Professor Sonja Gallhofer of the Department of Accountancy and Business Finance.

"Coffeehouses have a long history of being places where people can meet, discuss, debate and generate ideas," she said. "The Coffeehouse challenge is aimed at encouraging people to come together for a coffee and a conversation on a particular topic. We have chosen to discuss sustainability."

The meeting will take place in the Tartan Coffee House in Perth Road, Dundee on Friday June 2 at 3.30pm.
