Dundee Masters Show 2008More than 40 students from five Masters courses at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design displayed a vibrant mix of work at this year's annual Masters Show in September. Students from the Master of Design, Master of Fine Art and Master of Science in Media Arts and Imaging courses were joined for the first time this year by students from the new Masters courses in Forensic Art and in Medical Art. Highlights of the exhibition included an evocative dance sequence, an ethical fashion website and a tumbled down wall made of shredded Yellow Pages books aimed at highlighting barriers to communication for people with dyslexia. More than 1000 visitors viewed the exhibitions which were held in three separate venues across the city including Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, the Centrespace at the Visual Research Centre at Dundee Contemporary Arts and at Generator Projects in Mid Wynd. |
