Design award for newteaching block
The New Teaching Block, which was opened by The Queen in July, has won a top award from the Dundee Institute of Architects.
The £15 million gateway building on the north eastern edge of the campus at Old Hawkhill has been named Best Public or Commercial Building of the Year.
Colin McNally, Capital Projects and Development Manager said, "The aim throughout the campus redevelopment programme, including the New Teaching Block, has always been to provide high quality, functional buildings with a very strong design element. The New Teaching Block is a very striking building and this award is recognition of that."
