Carols by candlelight
Staff and students are invited to attend the University's traditional Candlelight Service of Nine Lessons and Carols in St Paul's Cathedral which will be held on Sunday 9 December at 5pm.
The festive favourite will feature the University choir, readings by staff and students and a selection of traditional Christmas carols.
The Chaplain Rev Dr Fiona Douglas will lead the service assisted by the honorary chaplains representing different denominations. The choir will be conducted by Director of Music Graeme Stevenson.
"With nearly 600 people filling the Cathedral, this is a popular service held completely in candlelight' said Dr Douglas. "It is a real University community occasion and one of the highlights of the year.
Following the service there will be a reception with mulled wine and mince pies hosted by the Principal.
