Lecturer conducts alumni wedding
The recent wedding of two University alumni was a special event for a group of staff and
graduates from the Division of Applied Computing.
Not only were bride and groom Hannah Howson and Graeme Whaley both graduates of the division, the
best man and three ushers were also former applied computing students, and the marriage ceremony
was conducted by Dr Annalu Waller, a current lecturer in the division who was supervisor of Hannah
and Graeme’s honours projects.
Annalu was ordained as a deacon in the Scottish Episcopal Church last year and this was the first
wedding she has conducted since her ordination. Hannah now works for the University's Learning
Enhancement Unit.
