When International Officer Neil Christie appealed for donations of clothing for orphanages in Kenya back in August, he received an overwhelming response from University staff. And when Neil visited the Tender Foot school recently he was able to pass on these donations in person.
Both the Tender Foot orphanage and the school provide food, teachers and many other resources for orphans, street children and children from poor families in the most deprived parts of Nairobi. The donations from University staff will help Tender Foot to keep making a positive difference to the lives of many children.
Neil said, "I'd like to express my own thanks to everyone who donated and also pass on the thanks of those at Tender Foot".
