The University is to host the popular BBC Radio 4 comedy programme Just a Minute.
Two shows will be recorded back to back on Friday 12 December in front of an audience of students and members of the public. University Rector and regular Just a Minute panelist Fred MacAulay will welcome the BBC show to his home turf and pit his wits against fellow panellists without hesitation, repetition or deviation.
Nicholas Parsons will take the chair and Fred will be joined by another three comedy kings who will be announced soon.
A staple of Radio 4’s comedy programming, Just a Minute has been running for over thirty five years. Previous panelists have included Paul Merton, Clement Freud, Ross Noble, Linda Smith, Tony Hawks, Graham Norton, Fred MacAulay and Lisa Tarbuck.
