Also retiring

Hugh Gall and Duncan McDonald retired from the University's IT department this summer after combined service of 67 years. Duncan started at the newly established computing laboratory in 1967. Hugh joined the University in 1968 as a computer operator and was promoted to senior programmer. A presentation was held in August to mark their retiral.

Peter Robertson, chargehand electrician from estates and buildings after nearly 40 years of service to the University.
