New IT Suite for new faculty

Students of the University's faculty of education and social work now have access to state-of-the-art computer equipment in a brand new IT suite. The £63,000 suite, which was launched last month by faculty dean Professor Ron Elder and the University's director of IT, Richard Murphy, is the latest development in the integration process for the new faculty with the University.

The 28 new PCs and cutting-edge video projection facilities have been warmly welcomed by staff and students. The suite is located on the basement floor, next to the library. It can be booked by staff as a teaching room and is accessible to students at all other times.
