Professor Ronald Harden is switching tracks after 30 years - retiring as director of the centre for medical education but taking up a new and challenging position spearheading the IVIMEDS initiative to establish an international virtual medical school.
In his time in Dundee, Ronald Harden has built a reputation as an international authority in medical education.
His commitment to developing new approaches has led to hundreds of papers in leading journals and research funding in excess of £10 million. His numerous awards include the prestigious Hubbard Award in 1992 from the National Board of Medical Examiners in the USA.
