New Children's Panel members

Two members of staff have just completed an intensive training course to serve on the Children's Panel. Morag Douglas, a secretary in the Wellcome Trust Biocentre and Lesley Kearns, clerical assistant in the finance office, attended weekend and evening sessions between between January and April before being approved for service by Scottish ministers. They will begin to sit on hearings this month. Morag and Lesley would like to thank their line managers and the University for their support and flexibility allowing them to participate in this vital service.
