Wanli recruiting

Our friends at Zhejiang Wanli University in Ningbo have asked us to help them recruit up to eight native speakers for six- or twelve- month contracts from February 2001. They would join a department with a staff of 130 which currently includes five appointees from Dundee.

Graduates in any discipline and EFL teachers are preferred. The monthly salary is equivalent of £300 - £500,and modern accommodation on campus - apartments with two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, TV, fridge, microwave, washing machine and computer with internet access is provided.

The return air-fare is paid for twelve month contracts and a one-way fare for six month contracts.

Normally teachers are expected to teach 14 x 45 minute classes per week, to spend two hours in the "English Corner" and to do two hours of administration.

Ningbo is a major port with 5 million inhabitants 100 miles south of Shanghai.
