Education policy guru for DundeeDr David Duncan, Assistant Chief Executive of Learning and Teaching Scotland has been appointed Secretary of the University. He will succeed Bob Seaton who has held the post for twenty eight years. David Duncan is an expert on curriculum development, advising the Scottish Funding Councils, Teacher Education Institutes and UNICEF on education policy. University "twitchers" caught a rare sighting of a flock of greater University of Dundee personages when the Chancellor, three Vice Chancellors and the Chairman of Court winged in from all parts of the country to pay their respects to University Secretary Bob Seaton on his retirement.
