Medical Impressions
An exhibition on the role of printing in medical education - from textbooks to teaching charts, from exam papers to degree certificates. Featuring unique material from the museum and images from the Department of Special Collections at the University of St Andrews Library
An exhibition exploring the various ways that artists use printing - from etchings and screenprints to artists books and newspaper cartoons. The show has been created in collaboration with the Centre for Artists Books at the University's Visual Research Centre.
As part of Artistic Impressions, a special open day took place for the Centre for Artists Books at the Visual Research Centre (VRC) on 23 May, 2-4pm. Find out more about VRC.
Medical Impressions is part of the Scotland & Medicine partnership's celebration of Five Centuries of Medical Print in Scotland.
