An exhibition of work by artists and designers who studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art 1968-72

This exhibition features a selection of work by artists and designers who studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee in 1968-72. Since graduating they have followed many different paths, in art education and administration, social work, graphic design and photography among others. Now they have reunited to show new work alongside some of their original student pieces. The show features a diverse range of paintings, textiles, jewellery, photographs, prints and ceramics.

Artists featured in the exhibition are:  Bartolomeo Biagini, John Carberry, Brian Cathcart, Jim Faulds, Alison George, John Hall, Jake King, Alison Lindsay, Gerald Linning, Rona Macdonald, Douglas McElhinney, David Macfarlane, Jan Miller, Kate Monteith, Sheila Mortlock, Clark Nicol, Lois Sharp, Walter Simms, Anne Skinner, Joe Smernicki, Derek Soutar, Calum Strathie, Lesley Taaffe, Janet Tod, Chris Treweek, Dorothy Walker.

To help us with COVID safety, please book a place in advance of your visit on Eventbrite. There is no need to bring proof of your Eventbrite booking with you. If you would also like to visit the exhibition in the Tower Foyer Gallery, you do not need to book separately for that.

You must wear a mask while in the building, unless medically exempt. Please take care to respect others in the space and follow 1 metre social distancing guidelines.

Tues 15 March, 6-7pm - Let's Go Round Again: The Women's Angle - a discussion event for Dundee Women's Festival featuring women artists who studied or taught at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art 1968-72

Sat 16 April, 2-4.30pm - Paper Cuts - a creative workshop run by textile artist Dorothy Walker 

Tues 19 April, 6-7pm - The Art College That Made Us - as part of the BBC's Art That Made Us Festival, a reminiscence event featuring artists in the exhibition
