Open: Monday - Friday 11 am - 5 pm

Inaugural Event: 14 August 2014, 7 - 9 pm

Sunday Event: 17 August 1 - 5 pm

Through an intimate and personal exploration of the wealth of texts held by abcD artist–curator Lada Wilson has created a new artwork which uses words and images from selected books as triggers for new narratives. These books are presented in horizontal, table top vitrines which invite the audience to navigate the titles and create their own personal discursive juxtapositions. An accompanying video work by Prof. Stephen Partridge, The Sound of These Words will be shown for the duration of the exhibition. An intrinsic part of the exhibition, this work graphically links words, images and sounds in visual sequences that act to counterpoise to the static presentations in the vitrines.
