Presented by LifeSpace and curated by Dundee Fellow Dr. Sarah Cook, bubble, bulge bleb is part of a year-long programme celebrating the centenary of D’Arcy Wentworth Thompson’s extraordinary book On Growth & Form (1917). The exhibition starts at LifeSpace: Science Art Research Gallery (a collaboration between Dundee's Duncan of Jordanstone and School of Life Sciences) and continues at Centrespace in the VRC.

bubble, bulge, bleb is an exhibition of spirals, spheres and waves in art inspired by naturally occurring mathematical forms and computer-generated abstractions. Drawn from the University of Dundee’s collections, the exhibition features mathematical models of complex biological systems alongside work by artists including Mat Fleming, Andy Lomas, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Daniel Brown, Victor Pasmore and graduates from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design.

Centrespace is in DJCAD's Visual Research Centre located on the lower levels of Dundee Contemporary Arts, 152 Nethergate, Dundee, DD1.

LifeSpace is located at the side entrance to the School of Life Sciences at the very top of Old Hawkhill in University of Dundee, Dundee DD1 5EH.
