Angus Douglas has joined Howden Industrial as the new Financial Controller. He is based at Howden Industrial's HQ in Renfrew, UK. He provides financial analysis and direction to the management team as well as assisting the individual Business Unit managements. Angus is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours Degree in Accountancy from Dundee University.

Lord Lucan or Jungle Barry?
During 30 years of speculation, he has been "located" around the globe, from the jungles of Africa to the depths of the English Channel. But until now no one has placed Lord Lucan's hideout in Goa. "Barry" was given a Viking-style cremation after his death, leaving no trace of DNA, but Duncan MacLaughlin, co-author and former detective believes that forensic analysis of photographs by Susan Black at Dundee University goes a long way towards proving his point. Prof Black, he said, was unable to disprove the connection.

City's homeless tops Ireland
There are more homeless people in Glasgow than there are in the whole of Ireland, latest figures have revealed. Bill Edgar, of Dundee University and research coordinator for the European Observatory on Homelessness, said: "The homeless per inhabitants for Glasgow according to these statistics is about two per thousand of the population - most other European countries are well under 0.5.
