Holiday of a lifetime ends in tragedy
A Wormit couple's holiday of a lifetime to mark a double family celebration ended in tragedy in New Zealand at the weekend. Irena Riddler (48) and her partner Duncan Leith were one week into a three-week holiday to mark his 50th birthday today when she was killed in a road accident on Saturday. Irena was a systems librarian at Dundee University and her death was described as "a great loss to the university as well as to her family, friends and colleagues."
