Top prizes for top students

Photo opportunity 1.50pm, Wednesday 3rd March, River Room 2, 9th Floor, Tower Building, University of Dundee.

Students who have reached the top of the first year class in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Dundee will be presented with prizes by the Dean tomorrow at a special ceremony.

Professor Christopher Whatley, Dean of Arts, will present eight first year students with cash prizes from the Armistead Bursary on Wednesday 3rd March in River Room 2 in the University's Tower Building.

The following students all came top in the first semester examinations in their subjects with Juliet Wakefield and Robert McIntosh both scooping the top place in two subjects.

George Ross - English
Robert McIntosh - Environmental Sciences
Juliet Wakefield - Geography and Psychology
Stuart Thomson - History
Catherine Smith - Philosophy
Darren Coyle - Politics
Ross Lyons and Robert McIntosh - Town and Regional Planning
