Lip take on 'Hamlet'

Photo opportunity: Tuesday 23 March, dress rehearsal, 8.00pm, MONO, Dundee University Student Union, Airlie Place, Dundee.

After months of rehearsing, University of Dundee's Lip Theatre Company will begin their three day run of Shakespeare's tragedy, 'Hamlet' this Friday, March 26th. The curtains open at 7.30pm with the 16 strong cast welcoming students, members of the public and local school children to sample one of the Bard's finest works. Pupils from Dundee's Braeview Academy and Monifieth High School will attend the opening performance as part of their school studies.

The show starts at 7.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 26 -28 March.

Tickets are still available, £4 for adults, £3 for concessions.

The society has an excellent record over many years and writes its own productions. Recent productions include Lecester's God and the Shift which went to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
