Marr announces lecture

Andrew Marr, who will receive an honorary degree from the University of Dundee on Friday 2nd July has confirmed the topic for his Greatest Minds public lecture which he will deliver at the University the same day.

Marr, the BBC's Political Editor, will talk about "Reporting Politics in a Democracy without Democrats". The popular political pundit will return to Dundee, where he went to school to receive an honorary degree from the University of Dundee.

Andrew Marr will receive his honorary degree alongside Lord Naren Patel. Later in the day, Jane Tomlinson, cancer sufferer and marathon cyclist, will receive her honorary degree from the University of Dundee.
