The lucky winner of a University of Dundee campaign raffle will today (Monday 26 January) fly from Dundee to London for a two-day luxury trip. Kirstin de Morgan of Ethie Castle near Arbroath won flights from Dundee to London (donated by ScotAirways), overnight accommodation in a hotel, and a tour of the GMTV studios with TICR Patron and Queen of daytime television, Lorraine Kelly.

The prize package for two people also includes a chauffeur-driven car from London City airport to the television studios, and an evening meal, donated by Sainsbury's Dundee, at Jamie Oliver's London restaurant Fifteen. The raffle - held in aid of TICR (Tayside Institute for Cardiovascular Research) - raised over £1400 to help fight heart disease, Scotland’s number one killer.

Mrs de Morgan, who is taking her husband Adrian de Morgan on the trip, said, "My father died of heart disease so this is a cause that is very close to my own heart. When my husband and I moved here less than two years ago, I was keen to get involved in a local charity activities and TICR is a very worthwhile cause.

I'm really looking forward to the trip, especially meeting Lorraine Kelly and dining in Jamie Oliver's restaurant as he is a hero of mine!" Mrs de Morgan is hoping to host a fund-raising event at Ethie Castle later this year.
