Funding boost for TICR

The University of Dundee's TICR fund will receive a £135 boost on Monday 23 February thanks to the fund-raising efforts of Carnoustie Bowling Club.

Members of the ladies section raise funs for two local charities each year. Donations and raffle profits are collected over the six-month bowling season and, this year, The Institute for Cardiovascular Research and the Dundee Society for the Visually Impaired, are the lucky recipients.

Ladies Secretary Susan Naylor, said, "We are delighted to have raised these funds for such a worthwhile cause. It has been a real pleasure for all of us to take part in these activities and it is great to see local charities benefiting."
