Poetry reading

The University of Dundee's creative writing fellow Colette Bryce will give her first local poetry recital tomorrow, February 25, in aid of Tibetan orphans.

The evening of "Poems for Special Places"has been organised by former schoolteacher Kate Armstrong to raise funds for the Palyul Children's Home and School in China's Sichuan Province, where most of the pupils are Tibetan orphans. Kate is also planning a fundraising trek in Tibet in May.

In addition to Colette's recital, the evening includes a reading by local poet John Glenday and a slide show on Tibet shown by Liz Wilson.

The event takes place in the Chaplaincy centre from 7.15pm, Entry is £3.
