Dundee fellows lectures

The first generation of Dundee Fellows, representing some of the brightest minds in art, science and engineering, will introduce their own areas at the University of Dundee tomorrow, Wednesday November 6th.

The University is actively investing in the next generation of its academic community. The Fellows are all outstanding, early career researchers who have been given the opportunity to further establish themselves at Dundee.

'Our Fellows are the star researchers of the future,' said Professor Stephen Decent, Vice-Principal and Head of the College of Art, Science and Engineering. 'We have attracted really strong talent from right across the world, with leading artists, engineers, computing experts and scientists all included.

'This is a significant part of our long-term strategy to become Scotland's leading university and continue to transform lives, locally and globally.'

The Dundee Fellows Lectures are being held over three sessions in the University's Dalhousie Building tomorrow afternoon, from 2pm to 3.30 pm, 3.30pm to 4.30pm and 4.30pm to 5.30pm.

They are open to the public and free to attend.
