The author of a new book on Palestine will visit the University of Dundee tomorrow as a guest of the Action Palestine student society to discuss his work.

Rich Wiles will talk about the text, 'Generation Palestine: Voices from the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions Movement' at the D'Arcy Thomson Lecture Theatre, Tower Building from 7.30pm on Wednesday, 26th June.

Wiles, an award-winning photographer, writer, activist, and co-founder of the Lajee Cultural Centre in Aida Refugee Camp, has edited the book, which features contributions by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Ken Loach, Omar Barghouti, Ronnie Kasrils, Ramzy Baroud, Mick Napier, and the late Iain Banks.

His talk will introduce the main themes of the book and explore the origins, role and challenges of the BDS movement. Copies of the book, costing £10 (RRP £13), will be available at the event.
